Let's talk Hydration!

Our bodies are 70% water! Many people don't get enough water in their daily lives. Chronic dehydration can lead to a disconnect with your body signals - you don't even recognize that you are thirsty anymore! Some people mistake thirst for hunger and overeat. Others just don't drink enough water or don't absorb the water they do drink.

Some symptoms of dehydration include: fatigue, dark yellow urine, sudden lightheadedness, heart rate increases, muscle cramps, constipation, dry mouth and lips, headache, dry skin, strange food cravings, and bad breath.

So what can you do? Starting your day with water is a great way to change your mindset and habits. Try drinking 16 ounces of water before you do anything else in the morning. Before you eat breakfast, before you start looking at those emails or Facebook, yes, even before that morning coffee! You may find that this new perspective will really help you think more clearly and make better decisions all day.

Sometimes just plain water isn't absorbed well into your body. So what can you do to help in that case? Try Gel Water! What is gel water? It is the form of water in the cells in your body, so your body can use it more readily.

Where do you get Gel Water? Fresh veggies have a ton of it! Cucumbers are a great choice for gel water. You can also drink juice that is 80% veggie juice. To learn more, you can research: Structured water or 4th Phase water. It is basically "living water". Another easy way to get gel water is to add a pinch of sea salt, or squeeze fresh lemon or lime, into your morning 16 ounces of water. You could also drink and/or cook with bone broth.

Share this exciting news with your loved ones, you will all be happier and healthier when you are well hydrated!
